The shaker works well but the true genius of it is the two sealed compartments that screw into the bottom of the shaker itself. You can store 2 separate serves of Man Shake powder or one lot of powder and nuts or whatever snack you like.. Great for talking my shake to work for lunch. Better than any other shaker I’ve ever seen or used. You need one of these!

I purchased the shaker with my first sachet of Banana Shake. It is a well designed and made product which mixes the shakes well and with the attachments, allows unmade shakes to be transported securely for later use. I find the shaker itself to be somehow motivational when preparing a shake.

Easy to use and clean , and it has a handy bottom storage compartment, too fill with man shake for a lunch shake, bit confused about the second bottom compartment, which has a x shaped plastic part that rattles when you shake the shaker.

Overall, the shaker gets the job done and I am happy to use it. Two MINOR negatives: 1). Lid needs to be removed to get to the last mouthful (however, the lid also needs to be removed for cleaning). 2). The powder gets stuck between the inside of the shaker and side of the strainer (or perhaps it's an agitator?). I do not use the strainer/agitator because of this and it doesn't seem to affect the outcome.

Short story, it's a great product - It's manufacture is robust and has withstood several drops when full, and not leaked. These have all been accidental as I shake fairly vigorously. It comes with the addition of a strainer which you can choose to remove if you feel it's not needed. The only negative is the space in the lid behind the hinge occasionally gets powder in it which doesn't dissolve... though a little hot water makes short work of any washing woes (it's too tight of a gap to fit a finger). The capacity, however, is perfectly measured and it's a neat fit into my Man Hand. The star rating appears to not be functional on this page, so instead of star rating, this product gets a 9/10 from me...

When I first got the shaker, I had to do some Googling to work out what the bottom screw-ons and the X-shaped piece were for ... I found on the Man Shake Facebook page that they were storage compartments and the X-piece was to separate snacks like nuts and seeds. Since then, I've used the shaker twice a day and had no complaints ... I bought a spare one to avoid the inevitable washing disaster. The only problem I can point out is that on the underside of the lid, the recess that connects the stopper is a square hole that can gather crusty bits of old shake ... it's not a deal breaker and any residue can be scraped out with something pointy like a steak knife, but it's the main point that stopped me giving a five star rating.
